The Phyllis S. Byrd Youth Fraternity O.E.S., P.H.A. was formally organised with 25 members in 1956 by PIGM Phyllis S. Byrd of Queen Esther Chapter #1. The fraternity accepts boys and girls ages 3-18 and is sponsored, entrusted to, cared for and administrated by the Georgiana Thomas Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star and the membership of the Subordinate Eastern Star Chapters of the District of Columbia.

Young men, young women and their parents are invited to visit the Masonic Temple on third Saturdays at 11:00 AM to discuss interest in membership with the directresses and members of the fraternity and their parents; check the full calendar on this website for scheduled dates.
